Commonotherwise Septic wants commonotherwise.garden to work for everyone, including people with disabilities. This statement shows how we approach that. It is a general template. It is not legal advice.

Our Goal

We want as many people as possible to be able to use this site. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. It is a common standard for accessible websites.

Steps We Take

We aim to:

• Add text alternatives to images that carry meaning
• Keep text easy to read with strong color contrast
• Let people use the whole site with a keyboard alone
• Build pages that work on phones, tablets and computers
• Write in plain, simple words
• Label every form field clearly

Where We Fall Short

Some parts of the site may not fully meet these standards yet. Third-party content, such as embedded tools, may be out of our hands. We check the site from time to time. When we find a problem with the site, we work to correct it.
